About Jody Goldie, MA, LMFT

Jody is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received her Master's degree in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts.  She received her Bachelor's degree from University of Northwestern, St. Paul.

Jody approaches the therapeutic relationship with warmth and the deep value that people and their responses make sense.  She has experience working with families, couples and individuals who have experienced complex trauma, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression and she is also able to address family, spiritual, and relational dynamics of control.  Jody approaches therapy from a competency based, feminist relational perspective that has a foundation in developmental neurology. She enjoys incorporating spirituality into therapy if that is desired by the client.

She is a consultant in the Anchored Relational Therapy (formerly AIR Network) model and she is also certified and consultant-in-training in EMDR therapy. Jody is also a LMFT and LPCC Minnesota board approved supervisor. Jody has traveled in the US and internationally to speak about relational neurobiology.

In her real life she loves to walk her dog, read, laugh very loud, play in any body of water, or find awe in very small things.

Jody accepts most insurances: Ucare, Medica, UBH, Health Partners, BCBS, MA, Hennepin Health, HealthEZ, UMR, HealthScope, Aetna, Cigna

Jody offers trainings on a neurobiological approach to compassion fatigue, trauma and the brain, emotions, and more.
