About Cindy L. Fischer Hancock, MA, LMFT, LADC
Cindy Fischer-Hancock is dual licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She provides therapeutic services in person and via Telehealth at her Burnsville location. Cindy is committed to creating a nurturing environment where clients can build coping skills and delve into their thoughts and emotions. With a focus on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as mind-body skills work, Cindy empowers clients to heighten their self-awareness and understand the interplay between thought patterns and emotions.
Cindy’s extensive experience shines particularly in her adeptness at establishing rapport and driving effective progress with clients facing co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders. Her integrative and collaborative approach is rooted in a client-centered framework, enriched by alternative complementary modalities.
Specializing in individual and family therapy, Cindy finds her passion in assisting individuals with dual diagnoses, skillfully addressing the complexities of mental health and relapse.
